Plaza Mayor
It is the historic center of the city, constructed buildings have their origin in the 18th and 19th centuries, when the sugar trade of the nearby Valley of the Sugar and the slave trade brought great wealth to the area. Many of the buildings surrounding the square belonged to wealthy landowners in the city.
Church of the Holy Trinity
